E-Commerce, AI, and Content: Sharedien at K5
On June 23–24, 2026, Sharedien joins K5 in Berlin to show how retailers and brands connect content, commerce, and AI.
On June 23 and 24, 2026, the digital retail scene meets at the K5 Future Retail Conference at Estrel Berlin. Retailers, brands, and technology partners will tackle one core question: how does e-commerce move forward in practice, under pressure from AI, new commerce models, rising costs, and higher speed expectations?
K5 brings together several thousand visitors, more than 200 exhibitors and partners, 250+ speakers, and a broad masterclass program. For Sharedien, that makes it the right setting to address a topic many companies now face in concrete terms: How can content, data, and commerce work together so operational teams move faster, safer, and at scale?
Masterclass: Why AI in e-commerce fails without clean data and solid processes
AI changes e-commerce in two places at once. First, buyers do less research themselves. AI agents search for products, compare offers, and rate them based on the data they can find. Second, marketing speed is rising hard. According to McKinsey, AI agents can accelerate campaign creation and execution by a factor of ten to fifteen.
That makes the integration of product data, content, and commerce an operational foundation. Product information, assets, rights, prices, availability, cart logic, and workflows need to connect so AI agents can compare, decide, and act with confidence.
In the masterclass by Sharedien and Emporix, we show why disconnected systems slow this shift down and which architecture companies now need. The core point: anyone serious about Agentic Commerce needs AI-ready data and content processes before autonomous commerce processes can scale.
At the booth, data chaos gets measurable
Sharedien will be at K5 at the shared booth with openCPX and Emporix. Together, we cover central parts of the digital value chain: content, product data, processes, and commerce workflows.
Right at the booth, Sharedien and openCPX offer the PIM/DAM Health Check. In about ten minutes, we check how stable product data, asset processes, and system handovers really are. Visitors receive an initial assessment that makes concrete weak points visible and turns next steps into something teams can act on.
E-commerce under pressure: AI, D2C, and scaling
K5 shows where digital retail is feeling pressure now. Strategy only counts if it holds up in daily operations. Four themes run through the conference:
- AI & automation: AI is moving deeper into e-commerce. Chatbots, automated campaigns, and operational assistants are the start. The bigger shift lies in Agentic Commerce: AI agents search for products, compare offers, and make purchase decisions.
- Direct-to-consumer: Brands want to grow with less dependence on marketplaces. To do that, they need direct customer access, clean data, and more control across the entire customer journey.
- Asia Commerce: Models from Temu, Shein, and other players show how radically fast retail can become. Real-time data steers demand, assortment, production, and interaction. Live shopping and super apps fuse content, community, and the moment of purchase.
- Growth & scaling: Growth has to stay profitable. Rising CAC, complex logistics, returns, and margin pressure turn scaling into an operational discipline.
Why a conversation is worth it
K5 is worth the trip for teams that want to connect content, data, and commerce more tightly. Especially when operational work still slows down because of system breaks, manual coordination, unclear rights, or inconsistent product information.
Meet Sharedien at K5 on June 23 and 24, 2026, in Berlin. Tickets and further information are available on the K5 website.
